Rad Tech Aide

Job Description

Highland Hospital is seeking a Full‑Time CT Tech Aid to work Friday–Sunday from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. The CT Tech Aide assists with efficient patient flow by supporting the technologist and RNs.

• Monitors Radiology Information System to maximize patient flow
• Answers telephone calls and takes messages as appropriate
• Stocks linen and supplies as needed and monitors expiration dates (monthly)
• Ensures patient safety and comfort
• Assists with transferring patients on and off the scanning table
• Assists with checking in patients
• Navigates patients throughout the continuum of care
• Escorts and transports patients to/from ED, waiting, and procedure areas
• Assists technologist and nurse with preparation and completion of procedures
• Places stretcher in lowest position and maintains safe height during transfer
• Changes scanning bed attachments per technologist direction
• Places socks on patients

• Salary Range: $17.70 – $22.92 per hour

• Education:
  
  High school graduate or equivalent experience
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 1 year of radiology office experience preferred
• License/Certification:
  None required
• Computer skills essential; advanced skills (eRecord) preferred
