At a time when student mental health needs are increasingly complex, the Associate Director of Training plays a central role in shaping the clinical preparation of future mental health professionals while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, ethical, and culturally responsive care to RIT students.
Reporting to senior leadership within Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), the Associate Director of Training leads the strategic planning, implementation, and evaluation of clinical training programs for graduate trainees. The role provides leadership and supervision to a multidisciplinary team of psychologists, therapists, and support staff, while contributing to departmental operations, policy development, and continuous improvement efforts.
This role is ideal for a collaborative clinical leader who enjoys mentoring emerging professionals, strengthening systems, and balancing hands‑on clinical engagement with programmatic oversight.
