MRI Technologist

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans and ensure high-quality imaging for accurate diagnosis
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures in a safe and compassionate manner
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment and adhere to all safety protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams such as IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation
• Document and maintain accurate patient records and imaging data

• Department Type: Radiology/Cardiology
• Patient Visits per Day: Approximately 20
• Number of MRI Rooms: 1
• Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics
• Support Services Available: IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation
• Float, Call, and Weekend Requirements: Not specified (to be confirmed during interview or onboarding)

• ARRT (MR) certification or equivalent
• Valid New York State Radiologic Technologist license (if applicable)
• Previous MRI experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a dynamic healthcare environment
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Compensation: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
