Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans and ensure high-quality imaging for accurate diagnosis
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures in a safe and compassionate manner
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment and adhere to all safety protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams such as IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation
- Document and maintain accurate patient records and imaging data
- Department Type: Radiology/Cardiology
- Patient Visits per Day: Approximately 20
- Number of MRI Rooms: 1
- Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics
- Support Services Available: IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation
- Float, Call, and Weekend Requirements: Not specified (to be confirmed during interview or onboarding)
- ARRT (MR) certification or equivalent
- Valid New York State Radiologic Technologist license (if applicable)
- Previous MRI experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a dynamic healthcare environment
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
Compensation: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
