Clinical Audiologist

Monday-Thursday 8:30-4:30, Friday 8:30-12.

The Audiologist will evaluate patients for hearing loss in adult populations and demonstrate an advanced level of clinical knowledge, communication and interdisciplinary collaboration and professionalism.

• Strong patient service and communication skills
• Compassionate, warm and patient focused
• Au.D. (preferred) or Master's Degree in Audiology
• NY state Audiology license and NY state Hearing Aid Dispensing license

• Performs and interprets diagnostic audio logic evaluations for both routine and complex patient populations.
• Performs hearing aid evaluations, fittings and counseling and verification for patients with both routine and complex needs. Works with multiple hearing aid manufacturers/programming interfaces.
• Provides counseling, education and guidance to patients and their families regarding disorder(s). Adapts existing resources to meet patient and caregiver needs.
• Maintains comprehensive electronic medical records (EMR) for each patient.
• Works collaboratively with professionals from other disciplines.
• Other duties as assigned.

Master's degree in Audiology required;
Au.D. or Ph.D. in Audiology preferred. 1-2 years of experience in Audiology preferred, but not required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work collaboratively and build strong team-based relationships, and flexibility and problem-solving skills required.
