As a Catering Houseperson, you will be responsible for the set-up, break down and storage of all banquet equipment and furniture.

Your specific duties in this role will include:

• Set-up all equipment and furniture for each catering event according to Event Order.
• Break down and store all equipment and furniture following each event.
• Perform special deep cleaning tasks as assigned.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the Catering facilities and surrounding areas.
• Assist in checking all fixtures, equipment and conditions (lights, heating/cooling, furniture, wallpaper, etc.) for proper operation, settings and maintenance. Report deficiencies.

We are looking for a self-motivated Catering Houseperson with a strong work ethic and a drive to exceed expectations. It is also important that you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to establish rapport with colleagues.

Specific qualifications for the role include:

• 1 to 3 months related experience;
  High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
