Incident Management:
Monitor and resolve application issues/bug fixes. Prioritize and assign incidents based on business impact. Problem Management:
Investigate recurring issues and bring permanent resolution. Do the 5-Why root cause analysis. Performance Optimization:
Application stability/enhancements migrations and upgrades. Change and Knowledge Management:
Maintain knowledge repository documents. Schedule meetings with team to share knowledge. Analysis of functional/technical requirements. Identify key areas and perform Proof Of Concept(s) if required. Define technical architecture and create detailed technical design specifications including service specifications, class diagrams, sequence diagrams, data models. Define the project’s technical architecture. Define implementation/deployment model. Define project/program specific design pattern, guidelines and checklist. Review and approve the low level design produced by team.
Ensure that the project development does not deviate from the agreed architecture principles. Must have worked on end-to-end from requirements till implementation in large engagements. Must have experience in development and support projects. Must have experience in modeling using one of the available tools.
Essential skills:
Provided SAP Basis Administration support, performance monitoring, problem analysis & resolution, and troubleshooting. Perform core Basis functions (e.g., system refresh, support packs, kernel upgrades, OS patching, transports, DR drills). Applying correction instruction through SNOTE. Configured STRUST and STRUSTSSO
2. Imported and exported certificates between ABAP/JAVA stack with third party interfaces. Setting up TMS for SAP-landscape and troubleshooting transport related issues. SAP Client Maintenance (client export & import, client creation, change client specific settings, RFC destinations, logon groups, ports and partner profile maintenance). Workflow setup, qRFC, tRFC, outbound, Inbound IDOC Queue maintenance. Background job and Spool Administration. Basic knowledge on support portal raising SRs and OSS messages.
Experience in SAP HANA, OS/DB migrations and cloud. Research and implement solutions for Basis functionality in performance monitoring and tuning. Contribute to the architecture design of the SAP systems. Cloud ALM Implementation. Provide application functional support in integrating SAP and non-SAP systems using ALE, IDOC, XI and other integration technologies.
