IT Support Technician — LEVEL 2​/Escalation; In-House, Rochester NY

Overview

We're hiring a Level 2 / Escalation Technician at Blue Tower Technical (Rochester). If you're the person who solves what everyone else escalates — and you want real ownership, not red tape — let's talk. We're a Rochester-based managed IT services provider with 25 years in business (since 2001) but still running scrappy, like a startup. We need a senior desk tech to own complex tickets, lead projects and onboarding, and mentor our Level 1 team.

Ownership of complex tickets, leadership of projects and onboarding, and mentorship of the Level 1 team.

• 2–4+ years of IT/MSP support, including escalation-level work
• Strong Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 admin
• Solid networking (firewalls, switching, VPN, DNS/DHCP)
• Backup/BCDR and RMM experience; great troubleshooting and communication

• $28–$34/hr (depending on experience)
