Investigate anomalies, reconcile sources, monitor pipelines, maintain mappings, and document assumptions and limitations.
  • Strengthen the Shared Code Platform:
Improve the quality, flexibility, testing, documentation, and reusability of common Python and SQL tooling.

Use LLMs and Citadel’s AI infrastructure to accelerate extraction, monitoring, and recurring research workflows.
  • Build Commercial Judgment:
Partner with Sector Data Scientists and investors to understand context, communicate findings, and prioritize work with real alpha.
What We’re Looking For:

  • Educational Background:

  • Early-Career

    Experience:

Recent graduate or up to 2 years in software engineering, data science, or analytics.
  • Technical Foundations:
Interest in building reliable, scalable analytical solutions and improving shared technical foundations.
  • Programming:
Strong proficiency in Python and SQL; familiarity with version control, testing, and data pipelines.
  • Analytical Rigor:
Ability to explore unfamiliar datasets, validate results, and identify commercial applications.
  • Passion for Financial Markets:
Demonstrated interest in investing, companies, business models, or economic questions.
  • Curiosity and Learning Agility:
Comfortable moving across sectors, incorporating feedback, and rapidly building domain knowledge.
  • Communication and Ownership:
Clear communicator with strong attention to detail, dependable execution, and sound judgment.
What We Offer for You:
  • World‑class data and AI infrastructure:
The opportunity to work at the forefront of quantitative finance with access to the world’s most comprehensive infrastructure for alternative data and AI.
  • Broad exposure and rapid learning:
Apply alternative data across sectors and investment questions while learning from accomplished portfolio managers, analysts, engineers, and data scientists.
  • Structured career development:
Build technical depth, sector expertise, and commercial instincts through mentorship, ownership of the shared code platform, and a pathway toward dedicated sector coverage.
