We are seeking an experienced IBM File Net Administrator to manage, support, and maintain enterprise content management (ECM) solutions built on the IBM File Net platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience administering IBM File Net P8 environments, ensuring system stability, performance, security, and availability while supporting business-critical ECM applications.
Responsibilities:- Administer and maintain IBM File Net P8 environments, including Content Engine (CE), Process Engine (PE), and IBM Content Navigator (ICN).
- Configure, deploy, and support File Net object stores, workflows, and document management solutions.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize platform stability.
- Perform system upgrades, patches, migrations, and environment maintenance.
- Manage user access, security, roles, and permissions within the File Net platform.
- Support production incidents and work closely with infrastructure, database, and application teams to resolve issues.
- Maintain system documentation and follow operational best practices.
- 5+ years of experience administering IBM File Net P8 environments.
- Strong knowledge of IBM File Net P8, Content Engine (CE), Process Engine (PE), and IBM Content Navigator (ICN).
- Experience with File Net installation, configuration, upgrades, and administration.
- Familiarity with application servers (Web Sphere or Web Logic) and Windows/Linux environments.
- Experience working with Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2 databases.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience with IBM Case Manager or Business Automation Workflow (BAW).
- Familiarity with scripting (Power Shell, Shell, or Jython) and automation.
- Basic knowledge of Java and REST APIs is a plus.
