Director, IT Services

Com Tec Solutions is seeking a Director, IT Services to lead delivery of managed services, ERP hosting, cloud, and cybersecurity for mid-market and manufacturing clients. You will define IT service strategy, ensure SLAs, and drive continual improvement across infrastructure, support, and security operations. Partner with clients to align technology roadmaps with business goals, manage vendors and budgets, and mentor a high-performing technical team.

This role is ideal for a hands-on IT leader with strong service management, ERP, and customer-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and delivery of managed IT, cloud, ERP hosting, and cybersecurity services.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security across client environments.
• Define and track SLAs, KPIs, and continuous service improvement initiatives.
• Partner with clients to align IT roadmaps with business and manufacturing needs.
• Oversee IT operations, incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and vendor relationships for IT services.
• Mentor, develop, and resource-plan for a high-performing technical team.
• Collaborate with sales and account teams to scope and onboard new services.
• Ensure compliance with security, data protection, and industry best practices.
• Drive standardization, documentation, and automation of service delivery processes.
