Our client is seeking an IT Field Support Technician to provide desk-side support across multiple office locations. The ideal candidate will be reliable, hands-on, and comfortable balancing on-site and remote support needs. This is an onsite position based in Rochester, NY.
IT Field Support Technician'sResponsibilities and Duties:
- Provide Level 2 desk-side support across primary and satellite office locations
- Support Windows 11 environments and troubleshoot end-user issues
- Provide support via Microsoft Teams
- Travel between office locations as needed to support end users
- Assist with basic network tasks such as AP replacement, cabling, and router/switch installation
- Deliver occasional remote support as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- At least 2 years of experience in a desk-side or field support role
- Experience with Windows 11 and Microsoft Teams
- Reliable transportation required for travel between office locations
- Network experience (AP replacement, cabling, routers/switches) a plus
- A+ certification a plus but not required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
