Key Responsibilities Underwrite new and renewal Dealers Open Lot (DOL) business for franchised automobile, truck, and boat dealerships Manage and grow an existing book of business while achieving profitability and production targets Analyze exposures and underwriting data to determine best carrier, coverage options, forms, and premium
Required Qualifications 3+ years of underwriting experience, ideally in Dealers Open Lot, Commercial Auto, Property, Casualty, or Excess & Surplus Lines
Experience with franchised automobile dealership risks strongly preferred Strong technical knowledge of dealership coverages, pricing models, and risk characteristics Proven ability to grow and manage a profitable book of business CPCU, AU, AINS, or other industry certifications a plus
