Location: City of Rochester
A state addiction services office in Rochester, NY, is seeking a qualified individual to provide American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation services for Deaf or Hard of Hearing patients. Responsibilities include translating verbal communication into ASL and vice versa during treatment sessions. Candidates must hold a certification from the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf and preferably have two years of interpretive experience.
This position requires maintaining strict patient confidentiality and has no guaranteed work hours.
