Vahey Law Offices is a growing litigation firm in Rochester seeking an attorney who wants to build a long‑term career in civil litigation — not just gain experience and move on.

Over the past eight years, our firm has developed a strong and expanding client base built on responsiveness, strategy, and results. We are collaborative, entrepreneurial, and committed to developing attorneys who want increasing responsibility and independence.

We are seeking an attorney with 1–7 years of litigation experience (commercial litigation and/or insurance defense preferred) who:

• Is committed to a career in litigation
• Thrives in a fast‑paced environment
• Understands and meets professional billing expectations
• Wants meaningful courtroom and deposition experience
• Is motivated to grow into handling cases independently

This is not a “back office” drafting role. Our attorneys handle matters from intake through trial and enforcement of judgment.

• Managing commercial and/or insurance defense litigation files from inception through resolution
• Conducting legal research and drafting pleadings and motion papers
• Handling written discovery and depositions
• Participating in mediations, arbitrations, and trials
• Client communication and case strategy development
• Negotiation and settlement discussions
