* Family & Matrimonial Attorney
* on behalf of a well-established law firm in
* Rochester, NY*. This is a unique opportunity to join a respected practice, take on meaningful and complex cases, and play a key role in the continued growth of its family law department.
* Responsibilities
* * Represent clients in all aspects of family and matrimonial law, including divorce, custody, support, equitable distribution, and related litigation
* Manage cases independently from intake through resolution
* Draft pleadings, conduct discovery, negotiate settlements, and appear in court
* Provide strategic and compassionate legal counsel during sensitive matters
* Build and maintain strong client relationships with a focus on long-term growth
* Qualifications
* * Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
* Licensed to practice in New York State and in good standing
* 2-5 years of experience in family and matrimonial law
* Strong litigation, negotiation, and client service skills
* A portable book of business is preferred but not required
* Compensation & Benefits*
* * Salary:* $130,000-$150,000 annually, based on experience and client base
