Strategic Sourcing​/Procurement Manager

Onsite New York, NY / hybrid flex option

Pay: $58/hour W2 only

Duration: 7 months with extensions based on client need and performance.

• Strategic Relationship Management
• Develop and maintain the appropriate stakeholder relationships to enable the Source-to-Contract (S2C) process within and across Corporate Departments.
• Translate business strategy into sourcing strategies; partner with the Global Sourcing Category leaders to evolve strategies over time.
• Influence Global Sourcing center of excellence category strategies to reflect Company requirements by offering feedback and requirements from the business units.
• Take and transfer the expertise from the global centers of excellence and optimize the business unit's spend to drive competitive advantage.
• Partner with key Corporate spend owners and FP&A to lead strategic planning of third‑party engagements and collaborate with the FP&A team to ensure approved spend for initiatives.
• Monitor supplier performance and support business development; elevate non‑compliance and deliver cost savings and overall vendor quality.

• Bachelor's degree is preferred. Equivalent experience acceptable. MBA preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of global sourcing & procurement experience is required.
• Certification in Procurement such as CPSM or CSCP is preferred.
• Strong understanding of Source-to-Contract processes is required.
• Must be skilled in prioritization discussions, negotiations, and establishing the appropriate balance between Global and Local requirements.
• Role needs an expert negotiator with proven experience in setting negotiation strategies and conducting negotiations.
• Candidates should possess extensive knowledge of the basic types of commercial agreement structures and the function and purpose of key legal terms.
• Experience working in a large, global, highly matrixed organization is required.
