Minimum Requirements

There are no education or experience qualifications for this position.

Desired Qualifications

• Physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position
• Ability to complete general cleaning tasks, move boxes and furniture, operate machinery used to maintain floors
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Daily attendance is expected
• Working knowledge of building cleaning procedures, materials and equipment
• Working knowledge of cleaning agents and proper applications

Position Summary / Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, dust, sanitize, mop, vacuum, and perform minor repairs within the school building
• Perform maintenance on quarry, terrazzo and wood flooring
• Strip and finish resilient tile floors
• Extract and shampoo carpets; perform spot removal
• Lawn care and sidewalk snow removal
