Senior Building Service Worker

Overview

This position performs routine work including being responsible for the performance of a variety of cleaning duties. This title differs from the lower title Building Service Worker by virtue of its expanded scope which includes duties such as acting in a lead supervisory capacity during cleaning projects, moving furniture, loading/unloading items onto/from trucks (up to fifty [50] pounds), performing minor mechanical tasks, and operating an automobile.

Employees may be required to work evenings and weekends. The employee reports directly to, and works under the general supervision of a Supervising Building Service Worker or other higher level staff member. Does related work as required.

One (1) year of paid full-time or its part-time equivalent experience in general cleaning or other related field.
