Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Program Manager to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead complex programs, drive strategic initiatives, and contribute to our organization’s growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in program management, with experience in development, a track record of successful project delivery, and a passion for continuous improvement and growth.
The candidate will provide the necessary leadership, decision-making, and thorough oversight throughout the program.
- Oversee all aspects of program execution from planning to completion; including program kickoff, development, qualification, delivery and program closeout. Ensure adherence to contractual requirements and L3
Harris policies and procedures. - Maintain documentation, track milestones, funding, and schedules. Ensure all details are communicated timely and accurately to program stakeholders.
- Report financial, schedule, technical and overall performance metrics to both external and internal stakeholders and executive management. Establish performance measurement baselines and monitor project performance using earned value metrics. Analyze performance data to identify variances, trends, and potential risks.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams, resolving issues, and building trust. Arrange and support strategic customer engagements. Partner with functional leads to ensure appropriate staffing.
- Identify opportunities and risks and implement strategies to minimize impact of risks and ensure the smooth delivery of program objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging best practices and lessons learned to enhance program delivery and support organizational growth.
- Manage the identification, evaluation, and approval process for contract change requests (formal and informal requests). Ensure all change requests are documented accurately and evaluated in a timely manner. Conduct thorough impact assessments for proposed changes, focusing on scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk.
- Identify growth opportunities within current program portfolio or opportunities for growth beyond existing programs. Lead proposal development from kickoff through contract negotiations.
- Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
- Knowledge of ITAR and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) desired
- Knowledge in Electro-Optical Infrared or Full Motion Video or Wide-area Motion
- PMP or PgMP certification is a plus
- Demonstrated leadership in managing teams and overseeing multiple projects delivered on time and on budget.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
