Position Title:

Vending Technician

- Rochester, NY

- Monday-Friday, First Shift!

- Travel: daily travel to local customer sites in a company vehicle.

The Vendor Technician delivers and services key vending account customers and customer cabinets / storerooms relative to inventory of gases, consumables, and safety products. Additionally, this position does basic troubleshooting and mechanical repairs as needed. This role focuses on servicing existing accounts throughout an assigned territory.

In particular, you will:

• Deliver and replenish various industrial products and vending machine or storeroom items to customers.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and mechanical repairs on vending systems.
• Review manual stock levels at multiple plant departments for reordering.
• Maintain branch inventory levels for proper replenishment.
• Track and submit delivery tickets and fill tickets.

Are you a MATCH?

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid US driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in product distribution or inventory management.
• Experience with welding, safety, or related industrial products is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or Google Suite.
• Experience in inventory management, customer service, sales, or help desk support.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to problem-solve with limited standardization.
• Adherence to Airgas safety programs, OSHA, and related regulations.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Mechanically and technologically competent.

Pay Range: $22-25/hr
