Cleanroom Technician Job Description
As a Cleanroom Technician, you will be responsible for operating molding machines and assembling plastic medical device components and subassemblies. This role requires a keen understanding of molding cosmetic defects and involves performing in-process visual inspections of components and sub-assemblies throughout the production process.
Responsibilities- Operate molding machines efficiently.
- Assemble plastic medical device components and subassemblies.
- Understand and identify molding cosmetic defects.
- Perform in-process visual inspections of components and sub-assemblies.
- Adhere to cleanroom protocols including wearing PPE properly and understanding restrictions on jewelry, make-up, and phones.
- Prior experience in manufacturing.
- Knowledge of plastic injection molding.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work with and manipulate small parts.
- Strong work ethic and ability to contribute at a steady pace.
Skills & Qualifications
- Inspection experience preferred.
- Cleanroom experience preferred but not required.

Work EnvironmentYou will work in a cleanroom within a medical device manufacturing environment, ensuring adherence to strict cleanliness and safety protocols. Proper PPE must be worn, and restrictions are in place regarding personal items such as jewelry, make-up, and phones.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Rochester, NY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.04/hr.
