Compensation: $35-$45/HR
Overview:This contract role on the Operations Product Support team supports validation activities for new products within a medical device manufacturing environment. The position requires the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Review calibration traceability claim papers, which document that patient sample test results on a VITROS system are traceable to the highest reference material/system in the calibration hierarchy.
- Compare current product papers to internal benchmark documents to ensure compliance with ISO 17511 requirements.
- Make required edits to ensure full compliance, provide rationale for changes, and route revised papers for approval using the Change Control system (basic training provided).
- Perform minor edits or, as needed, calculate new statistically derived uncertainty estimates, requiring familiarity with statistics and statistical software (e.g., Minitab, Excel).
- Provide routine progress updates to the project core team.
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel required; statistical analysis skills preferred.
