CNC Machinist​/Set-up Person "B" Shift

The CNC Machinist/Set-Up Person is responsible for set-up and operation of HAAS and Fanuc CNC mills.

Education/

Certifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Prior experience as a CNC Machinist/CNC Machine Set-up person.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Experience with HAAS Machines/Fanuc Robodrill, a plus.
• Optical experience, a plus.

• Set-up and operate HAAS and Fanuc CNC mills/Techno Router.
• Review and interpret blueprints (GDT preferred).
• Run a manual mill and lathe for fixturing/engineering support.
• Handling, waxing, fixturing, machining and cleaning glass materials.
• Monitor machines/parts adjusting offsets as determined by programmers.
• Perform measurements and conduct quality checks on in-process/completed parts.
• Use Calipers, Micrometers, Vision System, etc. to verify work.
• Perform routine machine/coolant maintenance.
• Maintain cleanliness of area/tools.
• Participate in 5S and lean manufacturing practices.
• Perform other duties as needed and assigned.
