Day in the Life
In our Rochester, NY facility, you start your shift with a quick huddle on production goals, then dive into staging parts and components for the day’s builds. You’ll organize materials, assemble electronic systems to spec, run functional tests, troubleshoot anything that’s off, and keep your area clean so the next task runs smoothly. Along the way, you’ll document what you did, flag issues to your supervisor, and partner with teammates to keep output on schedule.
Training sessions help you expand your skills as new products and processes roll out.
- Receive, handle, and kit materials so assembly runs efficiently.
- Build electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies according to specifications and quality standards.
- Perform testing and basic troubleshooting to confirm performance and reliability.
- Keep your workstation orderly to support safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with peers to achieve production targets and meet deadlines.
- Record steps taken and promptly report discrepancies or issues.
- Participate in training to grow with evolving technologies and processes.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a technical certificate or degree in electronics is a plus.
- Experience in material handling, electronic assembly, or testing preferred.
- Keen attention to detail and the ability to follow precise instructions.
- Basic knowledge of electronic components and assembly workflows.
- Comfort working independently and as part of a team.
- Problem‑solving mindset with a proactive approach.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools and methods.
