  • Read and interpret advanced technical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, OEM manuals, and ladder logic
  • Diagnose issues, replace or repair parts, and ensure equipment is returned to safe, reliable operation
  • Utilize precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators) and diagnostic instruments (multimeters, thermal devices)
  • Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs during production and scheduled maintenance during machine downtime
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized service needs
  • Support general upkeep of facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, lighting, building infrastructure, and interior/exterior painting and surface preparation
  • Assist with equipment moves, facility layout changes, and small-scale improvement projects
  • Support grounds maintenance activities, including snow removal and routine outdoor work
  • Accurately document maintenance activities, parts usage, and corrective actions in the work order system
  • Follow all safety policies, report unsafe conditions, and support updates to procedures, training, and spare part inventory
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in alignment with safety and 5S/lean standards
  • Participate in long‑term maintenance planning and assist with identifying capital improvement needs
Skills & Qualifications
  • Advanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability
  • Experience with CNC machines, industrial controls, hydraulics/pneumatics, and precision equipment
  • Strong knowledge of Wire EDM maintenance and setup (Sodick experience preferred)
  • Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting and basic programming concepts
  • Proficiency with measurement tools and diagnostic instruments
  • Solid understanding of industrial safety practices including lockout/tagout (LOTO), arc flash precautions, and machine guarding
  • Ability to read schematics, drawings, electrical prints, and diagrams
  • Strong problem‑solving, prioritization, and follow‑through skills with high personal accountability
  • Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to navigate computer systems and enter information accurately
