Warehouse Material Handler

POSITION SUMMARY

U.S. Auto Force, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., brings together more than 100 years of experience as an industry leader in the distribution of tires, undercar parts, and lubricants to independent tire retailers, auto repair shops, and automotive dealerships.

The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday 9:00am-5:30pm and rotating Saturday's. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs and may require overtime.

• Load, unload, stock tires and auto parts in a fast-paced warehouse environment using industrial vehicles such as a forklift or picker equipment.
• Use scanners to find and put away tires and assist with inventory control.
• Lifting 50 pounds consistently throughout the shift, occasionally up to 80 pounds; use team lifts or mechanical equipment for commercial tires.
• Exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds when working with barrels or industrial/agricultural tires.
• Work at heights of up to 25 feet on stock racks and operate equipment safely.
• Be on the move; work on feet for extended periods and work overtime as needed.
• Contribute to a safety culture and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
• Assist other departments (e‑commerce, inventory, call) as business needs dictate.
• Perform additional job‑related tasks and follow supervisor instructions, subject to reasonable accommodations.

Visual, auditory, physical, and mental ability to operate equipment safely with or without reasonable accommodation. Frequently lift up to 50 pounds, occasionally up to 80 pounds. Occasionally exert a pushing force up to 40 pounds. Handle commercial tires with team lifts or mechanical equipment. Protective equipment required: steel or composite toe boots, safety vest, safety harness, seatbelt, SRL (self‑retracting lifeline). All equipment is provided by U.S. Auto Force except for toe boots.

May be exposed to weather, moderate noise level, fumes associated with tires and lubricants.

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 1 year of warehouse/logistics or relevant experience.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally up to 80 pounds.
• Ability to exert a pushing force up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to work at heights up to 25 feet while operating equipment.
• Abide by all safety policies and transport/regulatory guidelines.
• Pass forklift certification.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.
• Follow instructions and safe operating procedures.
