Position Summary:
3rd shift position. Supports the organization by performing preventative maintenance and repairs on production and facilities/auxiliary equipment at the Rochester facilities.
- Install, troubleshoot, service and repair all production related equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment and facilities.
- Responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of mechanical issues, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, heat exchangers, central chillers, central water reclaim systems, manufacturing automation systems, and multi-axis robotics.
- Think critically and perform repairs in a timely manner. Recognize and recommend improvements to machine and/or cell layouts.
- Responsible for barrel/screw/check ring maintenance and measurements.
- Individually responsible for a bank of molding machines and robotics that are audited daily.
- Adhere to all safety rules and always wear proper PPE.
- May be responsible for training others or leading a team to perform a repair.
- May be required to service Pixley Road and Buffalo Road facilities as needed, using own vehicle.

Qualifications- Minimum of two (2) years experience with plastic injection, plant automation/robotics and auxiliary equipment.
- Minimum of two (2) years experience with plastic injection and auxiliary equipment in a clean room environment.
- Use and understanding of electrical testing equipment for troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and understand electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics/prints.
- Experience with 24
VDC, 208 single and three phase, 480 VAC. - Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Open to working a flexible schedule.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- High school diploma preferred.
- Trade School, Apprenticeship, Technical Associate’s Degree, or Work-Related Experience strongly preferred.
- Heavy lifting.
- High noise levels.
- Climbing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, kneeling.
- Manufacturing environment.
