This temporary (W2 only) role involves welding, drilling, cutting, forming, and shaping plastic to fabricate and assemble plastic tanks and other types of process equipment. The candidate will also custom fabricate new equipment, use power tools, hand tools, and precision equipment to rework and repair equipment. Reading work orders and interpreting blueprints are required to plan and carry out the design specifications.

• Carpentry or woodworking skills preferred.
• Piping experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabricate from provided designs is a plus.
• Fabrication experience preferred.
• Familiarity with basic carpentry hand and power tools.
• Ability to work with little supervision in a job‑shop environment and follow directions.
• Flexibility to work overtime and occasional travel.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience working at heights (ladders and manlifts) required.
• Comfortable working in confined spaces.
• Maintain a clean workplace and observe safety rules and practices.
• Use of protective equipment (safety shoes, glasses, hearing protection, full‑body harness, face mask/covering when required).
• Effective communicator; good listener.
• Multitasking when applicable.
• Enthusiastic, team‑oriented, adaptable, and flexible.
• Attention to detail and documentation.
• Reliable and punctual.
• DOT physical may be required.
• High school education required.
• Must pass basic shop math test at time of application.
• Valid NYS driver’s license required.

Pay Rate: $19.00 – $23.86 per hour.
