Machinist​/Coil Fabricator

Responsibilities

• Operate manual vertical mill, lathe, band saws, grinder, and drill press for production and prototype work.
• Maintain working condition of equipment, performing periodic preventative maintenance to ensure safety and proper operation of equipment.
• Manufacture and fabricate buswork necessary for internal production of RF induction heating systems.
• Build and repair coils for both new and repair orders.
• Machine parts for production runs and prototype work.
• Incoming mechanical inspection on various outsourced parts.
• Assist and train employees on equipment when necessary.
• Authority to generate ECN’s and DMR’s.
• Authority to stop employees from using machinery when an unsafe condition exists.
• Manufacture and fabricate custom induction coil assemblies (primarily copper).
• Good mechanical aptitude and blueprint reading skills.

• HS Diploma.
• Machining Certificate or equivalent.
• Minimum 2‑4 years’ experience.
• Must be able to braze, mold, solder, and have good knowledge of plumbing fittings.
• Read and understand schematics, drawings, and blueprints.
• Interface with internal customers to fulfill customer orders.
• Must be able to conceive and build mandrels for the manufacture of complex coils.
• CNC programming at the machine.
