Who We’re Looking For:

Re-Nuble is currently seeking a Production Supervisor to directly support our Managing Director of Manufacturing and the production of our several product lines. As an integral part of our operations, you’ll not only be operating equipment, but you’ll be developing new processes and best practices to ensure quality and continuous improvement. We are not only looking for candidates with experience in manufacturing and production, but those who are passionate about sustainability, empowering farmers, and creating meaningful, scalable change in the food system.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of technicians by setting daily workplans and performance and development plans with exceptional servant leadership style
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, bottom‑up continuous improvement among production team members
  • Effectively manage and mentor a diverse team of production personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance and productivity
  • Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and a thorough understanding of lean manufacturing principles, actively seeking opportunities to streamline processes, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency
  • Enthusiastically champion team motivation where all team members feel valued, able to create and contribute to solution creation, while providing constructive feedback and coaching as needed
  • Responsibility for shift operations during production cycles
  • Investigate, analyze, and implement preventative actions for quality and safety incidents or near misses
  • Manage direct and indirect labor and raw material costs for all production lines using dedicated production software and other tools
  • Control raw material inventory and work with key stakeholders to ensure appropriate replenishment with close focus on details
  • Set up and operate production equipment
  • Inspect equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; perform basic and routine cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance of equipment
  • Document and update production processes on an ongoing basis
  • Establish a system and maintain orderly record‑keeping for Quality Assurance and Quality Control
  • Regularly inspect and evaluate processes and products for quality, consistency, and efficiency
  • Regularly inspect, audit, and evaluate processes and equipment safety and recommend safety improvements as needed
  • Perform quality checks and regular auditing, and work with manager to develop and implement quality management system
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues as they arise
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, and ensure compliance with health and safety laws, regulations, and best practices
  • Ensure waste products are properly disposed of
  • Create staffing schedules and production plans
Location and Schedule

In‑person:
Rochester, NY

Full‑time, Monday through Friday, 8 am‑5 pm

Qualifications and Skills
  • 5+ years in Production Supervision or leadership
  • 5+ years in warehouse/production or manufacturing
  • Excellent time management and task management skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Understanding of production procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to follow oral and/or written instructions
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to pass a required Drug and Alcohol Screening
