The Powder Coater is responsible for preparing and painting various sheet metal products. They will securely hang prepared parts in the spray booth and then operate a powder coating spray gun. Once the item has been sprayed, the Powder Coater will place parts into oven for processing and examine the finished products for compliance.

• Follows work instructions to powder coat sheet metal parts for various customers.
• Reviews finished parts, ensuring compliance with customer quality standards.
• Assists on other projects as assigned.

Reports To:

Industrial Paint Manager

• High school or GED Equivalent
• 1 year powder coating experience preferable
• Attention to detail
• Possess through understanding of all processes in the painting area
• Ability to understand and carry out complicated verbal and written instructions

Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to the candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job‑related reasons.

A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position is $20.00-$24.00 per hour.
