Senior Production Tech (DL) – Creation Technologies
The Senior Production Tech performs complex technical activities on the production floor, drives innovation, and ensures compliance with the highest quality and safety standards. This senior position requires extensive technical knowledge, leadership in solving technical problems, and a tactical approach to enhancing plant manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities- Engage in the setup and operation of advanced manufacturing equipment to existing specifications, ensuring optimal performance, continuous improvement and adherence to safety standards.
- Handle advanced production tasks and solve complex problems with innovative solutions, ensuring compliance with quality standards and that products meet process specifications.
- Provide support in basic daily and weekly appraisal and rudimentary maintenance of equipment and tools necessary for the electronic manufacturing processes.
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of electronics processes and assembly, fully interpreting technical documentation.
- Execute and critique new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with subject‑matter knowledge as needed, and assign SOPs to Production Tech1 and Tech2s as appropriate.
- Lead complex technical issue resolution, applying critical thinking to overcome challenges effectively.
- Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, sharing insights and influencing long‑term objectives and technical excellence.
- Support the integration of new technologies and systems into manufacturing processes, enhancing efficiency and product performance.
- Lead cross‑functional teams in process improvement initiatives, fostering collaboration and innovation across departments.
- Conduct advanced troubleshooting and problem‑solving, providing expert‑level technical support to the manufacturing team.
- Lead projects or sub‑projects under the broader scope of manufacturing programs, coordinating with engineering teams to ensure on‑time delivery.
- Support the implementation of training programs for new technologies and processes, ensuring staff proficiency and operational excellence.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $20–$35 per hour. Full‑time employees are also eligible for performance‑based bonuses and benefits. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary; the final offer may vary based on experience, education, location, shift, and other factors.
