It all starts with you! When you join the OLED Manufacturing Technician team you will be part of the core group who handles set-up, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of machines and equipment used in manufacturing, R&D, pilot, test and production materials at both intermediate and finished good levels. You will monitor quality, test devices, collect and analyze data and more! You can’t mind being on your feet as you will be working on our machines and tools in a busy environment.
WhatYou’ll Do Every Day
- Operate equipment and test materials and products to raise product quality and profitability.
- Establish new or modified equipment run parameters and assist with equipment installation and validation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
- Collaborate closely with a team of engineers and scientists and may contribute to special projects.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean work areas.
- Document statistical process control, record results, and write procedures, including work performed at the desk in addition to hands-on work in Fab or Lab.
- Contribute to the Quality Management System in Rochester and help OLEDWorks maintain ISO 9001 and IATF certifications.
- A quality and safety‑focused attitude with hands-on experience in a fabrication-type environment.
- Knowledge of organic and inorganic materials is helpful, with skills in mechanical operation in a vacuum environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as coordinate with others; strong problem-solving skills.
- Adaptability to a changing and growing company environment and a proactive approach to finding solutions.
- Demonstrated delivery of great customer service in previous employment and understanding of its importance at OLEDWorks.
- On-site in Rochester; ability to stand 50% of the time, walk, reach, bend, and lift/move boxes and materials up to 25 lbs; heavier items may require assistance.
- Ability to use tools and machines daily.
