Salary Range: $19.00 To $25.00 Hourly

Advantech Industries, Inc. is a family‑owned manufacturing company based in Rochester, New York, specializing in CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding, and assembly services. Founded in 2002, the company serves multiple industries including defense, medical, and aerospace from its 250,000‑square‑foot facility.

• Review blueprints and work orders to understand product specifications, including dimensions, tolerances, quantities, tooling instructions, and fixturing.
• Set up and operate machinery that grinds, smooths, and buffs metal parts to achieve the specified finish.
• Use hand and power tools to smooth burrs and sharp edges.
• Visually inspect, move, count, tag, and pack parts.
• Use micrometers and gauges to inspect parts.
• Record job data on work orders throughout processes.

• Work with limited supervision as part of a customer‑driven quality team focused on meeting product quality requirements.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and accountability to meet project commitments.
• Maintain performance and motivation in routine, repetitive, or non‐stimulating tasks.
• Understand and follow oral and written directives.
• Work well under pressure, adhere to deadlines, and remain flexible.
• Have thorough operational knowledge and skills of specific equipment.
• Operate assigned equipment safely and efficiently.
• Keep accurate records of time spent and material used.
• Use precision measuring tools, read drawings and blueprints, and be familiar with common machine tools.
• Perform basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) in all units of measure.

According to the New York Pay Transparency law, pay range for this job is $19.00 - $25.00 per hour. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
