General Job Summary
In addition to performing all phases of the TIG weld function, sets‑up machinery, tools and parts for job completion.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Understands and follows all applicable safety policies and procedures.
- Refers to production Manufacturing Process Control Document (MPCD) for job specifics.
- Sets up and runs jobs as required.
- Resolves problems with job as required.
- Assists in the resolution of production, quality, and engineering issues.
- Ensures machines are maintained per safety and quality standards.
- Assists with other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.

Requirements EducationHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED);
One year certificate from college or technical school preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience2-3 years related experience or training
Computer SkillsNone
Other RequirementsUnderstanding and ability to use quality inspection equipment (calipers, height stand, protractor). Strong problem‑solving skills. MIG/TIG Welding certification preferred. Ability to wear a respirator, as required.
Language SkillsIntermediate
Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or Associates of organization.
Basic Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Intermediate
Skills:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
