Your role
Reporting to the Sherelle Brooks,
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the effective flow of materials into the facility, and proper storage based on documented processes. Verifies accuracy of incoming shipments. Responsible for coordinating the tasks associated with the Warehouse associate's in support of accurate and timely movement of materials physically and in the ERP. Coordinates of the transfers between the facilities and ensures that support is available on the receiving end in the main facility or an offsite warehouse.
Generates ideas and assists in the implementation of initiatives to improve quality and delivery, and maintains a high quality, clean and efficient work environment that meets all customer requirements.
ESSENTIAL
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Production Lines Supplied with Materials and Components
Coordinates delivery of materials and components to production lines.
Locates, picks, & delivers materials from Work orders to production in FEFO sequence.
Supports the Production Lines with material and components according to the weekly schedule to include changes.
Operates Forklifts and other equipment following safety procedures. Maintains awareness of pedestrian traffic, dock and racking conditions always when operating equipment.
Shipments Received
Receives materials and verifies correctness of shipments against documentation. Checks for shortages and damaged goods.
Coordinates receipt of raw material, packaging components and vendor managed inventory for manufacturing and packaging driven by the production schedule.
Receives and checks finished goods quantities received from the production lines for accuracy.
Unloads trucks and proper places (cold chain, controlled substances and labeling) material in the warehouse so that material is staged for inspection.
Receives cold chain materials to support manufacturing and distribution operations. Ensures each product/material is stored in the correct cold chain environment.
Receives/checks finished goods quantities from the production lines for accuracy.
Accurate Inventory
Completes all system transactions for receipt of material, and material movement.
Checks received materials against vendor shipping documents and purchase orders for accuracy.
Performs miscellaneous adjustments as required to reconcile inventory.
Team That Consistently Delivers
Provides directions to staff and coordinates workflow within the work unit, including distributing work, disseminating information, providing technical assistance, answering questions, and resolving problems. Ensures work is scheduled effectively; and checkpoints and controls are set for monitoring progress.
Assists in interviewing and hiring Distribution staff.
Understands HR policies and practices and uses them to help train and manage employees.
Your profile
* REQUIRED
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma/GED
D. QUALIFICATIONS/
EXPERIENCE:
3-5 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry or as a Receiving / Warehousing Associate.
Licensed operator of materials handling equipment preferred or the ability to obtain licenses/certification within the first 6-8 months on the job.
Intermediate to Advanced skills in company-based and/or customer software that supports Distribution and Supply Chain departments.
E. SPECIFIC
SKILLS:
Possess the ability to distinguish changes in inventory and investigate reasons for changes outside normal issues (cycle counts).
Ability to adapt/react to the Packaging Schedule changes daily due to availability of resources, materials or equipment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS /ENVIRONMENT:
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Normal office environment.
Considerable mental/visual concentration, coordinating manual dexterity with mental/visual attention.
Requires frequent lifting or other stressful physical activities.
Subject to frequent interruptions of normal routine.

Compensation range
19.00 - 25.00 USD
* The referenced compensation range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
