Distribution Coordinator

Responsible for the effective flow of materials into the facility, verify the accuracy of incoming shipments, coordinate warehouse tasks, and ensure material movement and storage according to documented processes. This role requires collaboration with production lines, maintaining accurate inventory, and directing staff to meet production schedules.

• Coordinate delivery of materials and components to production lines.
• Locate, pick, and deliver materials from work orders in FEFO sequence.
• Support production lines with materials and components following the weekly schedule, including changes.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely, maintaining awareness of traffic, dock, and racking conditions.
• Receive, verify, and inspect shipments; check for shortages and damages; verify against documentation.
• Coordinate receipt of raw materials, packaging components, and vendor‑managed inventory driven by production schedule.
• Receive and check finished goods from production lines, unload trucks, and stage material appropriately (cold chain, controlled substances).
• Schedule material in correct cold chain environment.
• Complete system transactions for receipt and movement of materials; perform inventory adjustments as required.
• Direct staff and coordinate workflow: distribute work, provide technical assistance, resolve problems, and establish checkpoints.
• Assist in interviewing and hiring distribution staff and apply HR policies for training and employee management.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3‑5 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry or as a receiving/warehousing associate.
• Licensed operator of material handling equipment preferred, or ability to obtain license within 6‑8 months.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in company‑based and/or customer software that supports distribution and supply‑chain operations.
• Ability to diagnose inventory changes and investigate reasons outside normal cycle counts.
• Ability to adapt to daily packaging schedule changes due to availability of resources, materials, or equipment.
• Physical capability to lift 50 pounds and perform frequent lifting or other strenuous activities.
• Requires frequent interruption of routine and strong mental/visual concentration with manual dexterity.

Salary Range: $19,000 - $25,000 USD per year.
