Lays out, plans, and completes all mechanical fabrication and assembly assignments with a minimum of supervision.;
Sets up and operates own machines as required.;
Works from blue prints, sketches, wiring diagrams, and verbal instructions or from experience in completing mechanical assignments and/or diagnosing apparatus, machine, facility, and/or equipment troubles.;
May assemble complicated mechanical components, or complete models, instruments, apparatus and equipment.;
May specialize in maintaining mechanical equipment or apparatus in good and efficient working order.
