Job Title
Intermediate Semiconductor Manufacturing Assembler – 18‑month contract to hire located in Rochester, New York.
Pay Rate$33 to $38 per hour.

- Redline assembly procedures and Bill of Materials based on findings
- Assist Manufacturing Engineers with developing work cells
- Meet with project stakeholders on a regular basis to understand daily tasks in a fast‑paced engineering environment
- Responsible for assembling electromechanical prototype products in an engineering lab environment
- Experience with various hand tools (screwdrivers, torque drivers, wrenches, pliers, etc.)
- Experience with soldering
- PCBA through‑hole and SMT certifications and experience is a plus
- Fabrication skills such as using a hand drill or drill press a plus
- Familiarity with production and product lean principles a plus
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to explain difficult or sensitive information and work to build consensus
- 5+ years of electronics and/or electromechanical work experience
- Associate degree or higher in manufacturing or mechanical engineering a plus
- SAP knowledge a plus
