1st shift Production - Supervisor / Shift Supervisor
Responsible for the day-to‑day management of the production floor though supervision, development and training of the production team which includes approximately 20-30 associates. In addition, it is responsible for the efficient movement of product through the plant with a focus on quality and timeliness. Reports to the Plant Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities- Follows and enforces established safety rules, ISO standards policies and procedures at all times
- Directs supervision of production staff including recruiting, selecting, training and developing associates through coaching and disciplinary actions
- Uses a Customer Driven approach to achieve KPI targets and engage associates in the improvement process (i.e. production quality, output, processes and efficiencies)
- Leads work teams focused on continuous improvement in safety, productivity, waste and quality improvement
- Maintains timekeeping and personnel records for all direct reports
- Maintains efficient workflows by monitoring processes and variables; implements cost reductions; develops reporting procedures and systems
- Completes production plan by establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising production schedules, resolving problems and reporting results or issues
- Ensure operation of equipment by calling for repairs; assists in troubleshooting machine issues
- Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data, answering questions and responding to requests
- Creates and revises systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record‑keeping systems, forms of control, budgetary and personnel requirements
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing associates on the use of all equipment and safety protocols
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications
- Assists with hands‑on operation of machines, including operating and feeding press machines that require a full awareness of surroundings, machine pinch points and safety protocols
- Operate forklift, as needed, in tight spaces with human traffic
- Proficient in lean methods
- Proficient in Amtech job costing module
- Proficient in Amtech RPM module
- Strong communication skills and mentoring skills
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- High school diploma / GED
- Experience in the corrugated packaging industry highly preferred
- Certified forklift operator
- Working knowledge of all production machines, plant equipment and operations
- Results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment
Demonstrates aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for customers - Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills

- 2-5 Years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Regularly stand, walk, and communicate throughout the manufacturing facility.
- Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Work safely around moving equipment, forklifts, and production machinery.
- Ability to maintain awareness of surroundings, machine pinch points, and safety hazards.
- Possess close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
