Position OverviewGrowing manufacturing company is seeking an Junior Production Scheduler who is eager to learn and grow within a manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity for someone with 1+ year of production scheduling, manufacturing, ERP, or related experience who is adaptable, detail-oriented, and interested in developing their career in production planning. The Production Scheduler will support daily production scheduling, work within an ERP/scheduling system
, monitor production workflow, and collaborate with Customer Service, Production, Purchasing, and other departments to keep schedules on track.
- Assist with creating and adjusting daily production schedules
- Work within the ERP/scheduling system to maintain accurate schedules
- Monitor production schedules and communicate updates to internal teams
- Track production performance, on-time delivery, and workflow
- Help identify scheduling issues, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement
- Maintain accurate scheduling and production data
- Work closely with Production, Customer Service, Purchasing, and other departments
- Provide support to the production finishing area as needed
- Work across multiple adjacent production buildings; role involves regular walking throughout the facility
- 1+ year of experience in production scheduling or similar experience
- High school diploma/GED required; degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field preferred
- Experience with an ERP or scheduling system preferred
- Strong Excel and computer skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with data
- Ability to adapt to changing production priorities
- Comfortable working with management and cross-functional teams
