Machinist

We are seeking a skilled Machinist who will be responsible for the set-up and operation of various vertical mill machining centers. The ideal candidate will handle tooling changes and perform some program editing directly at the machine. This position operates on a first shift with the possibility of overtime, and you will be expected to run your own parts in a small, relaxed shop environment.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate vertical mill machining centers.
• Change tooling as required.
• Edit programs at the machine when necessary.
• Run own parts in a small shop setting.

Essential

Skills:

• Minimum of 3 years experience with CNC Mill Set Up.
• Ability to change tooling and modify programs at the machine.
• Experience with Fanuc controls.

Additional Skills &

Qualifications:

• Experience with programming or editing programs is a plus, but not required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester, NY.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
