We are seeking a skilled Tool Maker/Machinist to manufacture precision tooling and components that support cutting-edge manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate manual machine tools, including lathes, mills, and grinders.
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to produce precision components.
- Measure, inspect, and verify parts using precision measuring instruments.
- Fit, assemble, and modify tooling, fixtures, and machined components as required.
- Maintain quality standards and ensure all work meets specifications.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with team members on manufacturing solutions.
- Train and assist operators with machine setup and best practices as needed.
Essential Skills
- 3+ years of tool & die, machining, or apprenticeship experience.
- Proficient with manual mills, lathes, and precision measuring tools.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and perform shop math calculations.
- Experience with CAM programming, AutoCAD, and tool fabrication beneficial.
- Ability to collaborate with engineers, train apprentices, and support production needs.

Job Type & Location
This is a permanent position based out of Greece, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
