- Lead production planning activities across three Rochester manufacturing sites
- Manage and develop a team of production planners
- Establish standardized planning processes, tools, and metrics across all sites
- Translate demand forecasts into executable production plans
- Lead monthly supply reviews and support the S&OP process
- Develop short-, mid-, and long-term capacity plans
- Identify production constraints and coordinate mitigation plans
- Oversee production schedules that optimize throughput and service levels
- Monitor schedule adherence and drive corrective actions
- Establish and monitor KPIs including schedule attainment, service levels, capacity utilization, planning accuracy, inventory health, and backorders
- Lead continuous improvement and ERP/planning system enhancements
- Partner with Manufacturing, Materials Management, Procurement, Quality, Engineering, and Network Planning
- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
- 7+ years in production planning, supply planning, or manufacturing planning
- Multi-site manufacturing planning leadership experience
- Strong understanding of S&OP, capacity planning, and master scheduling
- SAP and advanced analytics experience
- Preferred: APICS/ASCM CPIM or CSCP certification
- Preferred:
Life Sciences or Chemicals manufacturing experience - Preferred: SAP PP and supply chain planning module experience
Demonstrates expertise in production planning and supply chain management, with a strong focus on S&OP processes, capacity planning, and the use of ERP systems like SAP. Proven ability to lead teams, establish standardized processes, and drive continuous improvement across multiple manufacturing sites.
