Manufacturing Process Technician — Packaging & HMI Operations

Location: City of Rochester

Your day on the line

Step into a 12-hour rhythm where precision meets momentum. Our teams run a 2-2-3 rotation with two day options: 6:00 am–6:00 pm or 6:00 pm–6:00 am. Built-in overtime, predictable days off, and a night differential of $1.25/hr keep work and life in balance.

What the shift feels like Start-up:
Review the plan, verify specs, and walk the line to ensure every step aligns with Standard Operating Procedures.

Setup:
Prepare and dial-in equipment for the production run so machines perform safely and efficiently.

Execution:
Operate and tend packaging systems while monitoring performance through the HMI (Sigmatek).Optimization:
Apply Lean principles to eliminate waste, improve flow, and keep quality consistent.

Problem-solving:
Team up to troubleshoot, adjust, and get the line back to peak when issues arise.

Close-out:
Housekeeping and safety checks—leave the work area clean, organized, and ready for the next team.

What you bring

Comfort with shop math for accurate measurements and calculations.

Background in manufacturing (preferred), with basic computer literacy for data input and machine interfaces.

Hands-on familiarity with packaging machinery and HMI systems.

A team-first mindset, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.
