Salary Range: $70,000.00 To $90,000.00 Annually

What You’ll Be Doing:- Use MRP system to plan and establish production schedules that minimize finished goods on hand and satisfies all customer needs.
- Monitor customer orders and respond promptly and appropriately to changes. Adjust MRP system items planning data accordingly to ensure inventory levels and planning for the materials needed to support Rochester manufacturing operations.
- Use Kan Ban system to manage WIP and finished goods that are not using System MRP requirements.
- Work with Purchasing to establish correct minimum quantity to help reduce inventory. Responsible for minimizing inventory levels while ensuring adequate materials to produce customer orders on time
- Analyze market and delivery conditions to determine present and future material availability consistent with just-in-time inventory requirements.
- Conduct a weekly materials meeting to report out material conflicts and
- Tracks progress of production’s schedule obtainment and provide feedback.
- Work with maintenance to insure press availability for preventative maintenance and other maintenance issues.
- Work with Process Set-Up to monitor changes in set-up times and adjust MRP system accordingly.
- This team member will be looked to as an expert resource for the collection of information, analysis of that information, and preparation of that analysis into various reports for consumption by managers, customers, and suppliers.
- You have a Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or one (1) to three (3) years scheduling-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills:
- Proficient with MRP System and Microsoft Office Suite;
Ability to learn new software as needed.
