Summary:
As a student participant in the RIT Co-op, you will gain exposure and experience in the healthcare field, specifically in Marketing.
The Marketing & Communications Department at Rochester Regional Health offers a hands‑on Co‑op experience for RIT students interested in marketing, web development, new media, or graphic design. This paid opportunity allows students to apply classroom learning to meaningful, real‑world projects in the healthcare space.
Co‑op students will support a variety of initiatives that help tell our story and engage our communities. Depending on skills and interests, students may contribute to marketing strategy and execution, digital and web projects, creative and visual design, content development, analytics, or emerging media efforts, working alongside experienced marketing, creative and digital professionals. This experience is designed to provide exposure to a complex, fast‑paced healthcare environment while building practical skills, professional confidence, and a deeper understanding of how marketing and communications drive impact in a large health system.
Required Qualifications- Student at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT).
- Background in the field of study which coincides with the department utilizing the co‑op.
- Dependent upon the department utilizing the co‑op, specific skills or qualifications may be preferred.

Physical RequirementsS - Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
