Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Market Communications Manager position based in Rochester, NY. The Market Communications Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic communication initiatives that strengthen Pro-Tech’s brand presence, support dealer engagement, and drive market awareness across the snow and heavy equipment industries.

The role focuses on aligning marketing strategy with sales objectives to effectively communicate Pro-Tech’s value proposition. The Market Communications Manager will oversee brand messaging, product positioning, dealer communications, digital content, and campaign execution to ensure consistency and impact across all channels.

Key responsibilities include managing product launches, creating sales support materials, coordinating trade show presence, overseeing digital marketing efforts (website, email campaigns, social media, and video content), and developing targeted messaging for contractors, dealers, and municipal buyers. This role will work closely with Sales, Operations, and Leadership to ensure marketing initiatives directly support revenue growth and dealer network expansion.

The Market Communications Manager will also be responsible for maintaining brand standards, analyzing campaign performance metrics, identifying market trends, and recommending strategies to strengthen competitive positioning within the snow and heavy equipment attachment market.

This position requires strong communication and storytelling skills, strategic thinking, and an understanding of industrial B2B & B2C marketing within a dealer-distribution model. The ideal candidate will combine creativity with operational discipline to elevate Pro-Tech’s market presence and reinforce its reputation for durability, reliability, and customer-focused service.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field required (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
  • 5+ years of B2B marketing experience, preferably within manufacturing, heavy equipment, construction, or industrial product industries
  • Advanced capability in sales enablement strategy, including development of structured messaging frameworks and dealer marketing programs
  • Experience leading product launches and go-to-market strategies in a cross-functional environment
  • Proficiency in digital marketing platforms including website management, email campaigns, social media strategy, and SEO fundamentals
  • Experience managing and updating company websites using modern content management systems (CMS)
  • Ability to manage and edit web pages including product information, imagery, specifications, and messaging including website performance metrics such as traffic, engagement, and conversion indicators
  • Understanding of basic website design principles including layout, readability, and user experience (UX)
  • High-level project management skills with the ability to drive multiple initiatives while maintaining brand consistency and operational alignment
