Clinical Research Nurse
Contract Length: 6 months with strong potential for permanent hire
Compensation: $40–$50/hour, based on experience

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Research Nurse to support clinical trial operations at a well‑established research site in Rochester, NY. This role is integral to the successful execution of clinical studies and involves close collaboration with the Principal Investigator and site team from study start‑up through closeout.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage assigned clinical studies in accordance with study protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in the informed consent process and conduct study visits per protocol.
- Deliver high‑quality, patient‑focused care and ensure a positive participant experience.
- Manage investigational products, study supplies, and equipment in compliance with protocol requirements.
- Serve as a clinical resource and support to the research team.
- Assist with monitoring visits, investigator meetings, and resolution of data queries.
- Partner with laboratory personnel to oversee specimen collection, processing, and shipment throughout the study lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including visit logs and Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) updates.
- Ensure timely reporting of Serious Adverse Events (SAEs) to appropriate parties per regulatory guidelines.
- Support ongoing quality initiatives, including audits, risk assessments, and corrective and preventive actions.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and active RN license required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical research environment preferred.
- CCRC certification preferred.
