Job Title: Manager, RN
Department: Clinic
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Reports to: Director of Nursing
Direct reports: No
Key Responsibilities- Provides direct leadership and management of the Registered Nurses within each practice site, guiding, supporting, and developing the RNs of each care team to ensure delivery of consistent, high-quality patient care.
- Works with all members of the care team—including providers, managers, and interdisciplinary staff—to coordinate and improve patient care.
- Works collaboratively with the Quality Manager to understand and help implement workflows with RNs aligned to the Quality Improvement (QI) plan, supporting teams in meeting key quality measures.
- Tracks clinical metrics and patient outcomes to drive improvements.
- Manages staffing schedules, resource allocation, recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations for nursing staff at their site.
- Conducts team meetings, ongoing education, and competency assessments.
- Serves as a clinical resource and escalation point for complex patient care issues.
- Promotes a positive team-oriented environment.
Skills and Qualifications
- BSN Registered Nurse licensure
- Current CPR certification.
- Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- Strong knowledge of outpatient workflows and multi‑site operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Epic EMR (minimum 2 years required).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience with quality improvement and compliance initiatives preferred.
- Requires the ability and commitment to respect and support patients, other employees and visitors with various lived experiences.
- Requires individual demonstration of commitment to the mission, vision, One Trillium values, behaviors and modeling them in the organization.
- Responsible for maintaining confidentiality of all patients, client, employee, protected and proprietary information.
- Employees are accountable for meeting the performance standards of their departments and must participate as requested in compliance audits and quality improvement plans.
- Required to participate in continuous improvement of job responsibilities and organizational or work processes to advance the organization or department.
- Other specific duties as assigned.
- Prolonged standing and walking throughout clinic to support staff, shadow work flows, and respond to patient needs.
